Updates

Three games received some updates: An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, Bailey’s Game, and Cat Licker. The first (in An Occurrence) is more of an Easter Egg for those people who decide that hiding from soldiers “isn’t their thing.” Not a huge update, but so far it’s garnished a few “ooOOooOOoo”s and possibly one “eh, its ok” but I don’t quite remember. Bailey’s Game’s update…. is still underway. But once it’s in, thing’ll run much more smoothly! And Cat Licker is now responsive and has one more possible end ranking. Which is nice when playing a point racking game.

Cat Licker Updated

Finally! A game no one has ever heard of, nor wants to hear of, has been updated. Cat Licker, a game about licking cats, has now been updated. While there is plenty of room for more improvement (a change of game subject to begin with), licking cats now causes effects. Especially in the downloadable version. But as not everyone has a PC, I guess the HTML5 version is cool too. Click here to go to the page.

Don’t Kill the Cow On-line

Don’t Kill the Cow is now on-line! And where else would it be other than Kongregate? “But what does that mean for me?” Well, nothing really. You can play it on a Mac now, so that’s nice. And you also don’t need to download it. “Any cool new levels or added features?” No, nothing has changed in the game. Stop stomping on my parade. http://www.kongregate.com/games/SeemPoint/dont-kill-the-cow

EnviroGolf: A Text-Based Environmentally Savvy Golf Game

Psudo-text based golf game? That sounds awful!   And it is! EnviroGolf was conceived several years ago as a running joke (a text based sports game that screeches to the tune of environmental protection), but finally with GameJolt’s 2014 New Years Jam, the opportunity arose to make such a game. And here we are! While there is no real theme to the game as sports games, text games, and environmentally savvy games can all be swell, the general idea behind EnviroGolf was to make a game of a genre we strongly dislike (in this case, a combination of genre, style, and purpose that don’t mesh well). If we had patience and memory, it probably would have been created for Fuck This Jam! EnviroGolf’s Page here (where you can reread that lovely block of text again if you should so desire). Bailey’s Game

A game made a little while ago over the holidays. It isn’t fully done (there are a few improvements and changes still being made). But it’s playable and worth posting as of now. Changes will trickle in eventually, much like the improvements that Cat Licker will undergo.

Ludum Dare 25 Game Jam Entry: Cat Licker

Woo! After a good two days of on and off work, Cat Licker is done! For the most part anyways. As always, it could use some more testing and minor adjustments, but that’ll have to wait for another day. An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge needs my attention now. So close to finishing that one up. Cheers!
